About me
Yuki Horiguchi is currently a VP in the People function at Cruise, a self-driving car company, where she is responsible for compensation, benefits, people analytics, and workforce planning. She has spent over 20 years in life sciences and tech companies, designing and implementing pay and benefits programs to align to the mission and goals of these companies. These programs need to be very responsive to market dynamics as well as to what is happening at the company. Yuki spends a lot of her time focusing on executive compensation, partnering with the CEO and Board on how to pay senior leaders, and she also oversees how programs are developed to support the broader workforce. Yuki believes strongly in the importance of all employees understanding the basics of how compensation is determined and how to advocate for fair pay.
