About me
Michael Azgour is a contemporary artist whose paintings explore the dynamic interplay between perception and reality, skillfully blending expressive figuration with geometric abstraction. His work has been showcased in galleries and museums across the United States, Europe, and Asia, featuring solo exhibitions at the Art Museum of Los Gatos and Hohmann Fine Art in Palm Desert, as well as prominent art fairs like SCOPE NYC (solo exhibition), Art Market San Francisco, and the Los Angeles Art Show.
In January 2025, Michael will present a solo show at the Fresno Art Museum. His artwork is part of esteemed collections worldwide, including those at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University and Showtime Television Network in New York.
An active participant in the art community, Michael frequently speaks at conferences, workshops, and panels, including TEDx Krakow. He has taught drawing and painting at Stanford University's Architectural Design program and currently leads courses at the Azgour Art Group, a studio offering both online and in-person classes in San Francisco.
