About me
Danielle is a PhD student in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. As someone who has always been interested in spending as much time as possible outside, she was drawn to take field based classes in college. She majored in English and ecology at a small liberal arts school in Maine. After graduating, she conducted forest and lichen ecology research on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia and Berlin with the support of a Fulbright Grant. She is currently studying lichens and plants in her PhD.
