About me
Ashlie Beringer is an attorney and partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and a Co-Chair of the firm's Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation group. Ashlie previously was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Facebook, where she advised Facebook's product managers and engineers on privacy and regulatory requirements for all Facebook products (including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Oculus). Ashlie loves working with innovators on product design and development, and she is passionate about finding solutions that advance user privacy, safety and security, while also improving the product experience.
Ashlie is also passionate about the intersection of science and spirituality and has spent more than a decade researching spiritual and religious philosophies and traditions, as well as the fields of scientific inquiry that are providing evidence-based support for how our thoughts, practices and energy shape our experiences and our world. Ashlie is a certified practitioner of the Intuitive Intelligence Method and is training as a Spiritual Director and Bhakti yoga teacher. She founded the Big Love Institute, a non-profit that supports transformational healing and community.
