About me
Aden is a veteran General Counsel who has been working on cutting-edge technology and privacy issues for over twenty-five years. He is currently the General Counsel of Wheel, a leading telehealth company. He previously led Datavant, a health data technology company, through a $7 billion merger transaction with Ciox in 2021. Before joining Datavant as its General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, Aden was the General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Ever AI (now Paravision), an AI and computer vision company. Prior to that, he was the General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for Edmodo, the world’s largest social network for schools. Before becoming a General Counsel, Aden worked at the American Civil Liberties Union’s National Office in New York City for ten years, specializing in Internet privacy, free speech, and new technology cases, several of which went to the Supreme Court, and at law firms in San Francisco for six years doing IP and business litigation. Aden graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, and received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.
