This is a crash course in music production. We will select one song, discuss arrangement, gear set up, microphone placement, and then perform, record, and mix at the legendary Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco. Ambitious? Perhaps. Impossible? Never!

This session is OFF CAMPUS. Transportation will be pre-arranged.

Frank Swart is an engineer, producer, composer, and musician. He has been making records and touring since dinosaurs roamed the earth, and has worked with Norah Jones, Patty Griffin, Indigo Girls, John Hiatt, Morphine, and Pixies.
